Sacred Journeys Grove
This grove is established to explore, study, and experience the spiritual practice
of core shamanism. Shamanism is a path of deep connection with Spirit, a path of honest
self-discovery, and a path of healing and service. Core shamanism is a study of the
common elements of many of the world’s native spiritual traditions of practice for the
purposes of healing, guidance, spiritual growth, and assistance with almost any magkical
or mundane need.
Shamanism is a serious path; this grove is not intended to be a general forum for those
who are simply curious about shamanism, or are sampling spiritual paths. Members of the
grove will be selected on the basis of their demonstrated spiritual maturity, their
dedication to service and study, their willingness to look within themselves with stark
honesty, and their ethics in confidentiality.
We will be studying core shamanism theory and practice, and will be experiencing shamanic
journeys together at grove meetings, as well as journeys at home; keeping a journal is
expected. Members will be encouraged to share experiences, both in journeying, and in
spiritual growth and practice, so trust between members is essential.
The Grove leaders are Lady Ariatha and Lady Arachne. We will be meeting on the 1st
and 3rd Sundays of each month from 5pm-7pm.
