The Ringing Anvil Blog

Are you looking to connect more with your favorite pagan authors, activists or musicians? You can hear them speak for free and discover new voices by downloading podcasts from a number of host sites such as iTunes, Blog Talk Radio, PodBean or Podomatic. Podcast that currently run on Blog Talk radio feature a live chat box function when the show is airing live.

You can search for a specific person simply by typing their name and ‘podcast’ into a search engine like Google. I like to download them to my mp3 players and listen to them in the car and while cleaning or cooking. You can also just stream them from your computer as you go about your daily business or listen to your favorite songs while reading on your tablet.

These podcast are all available for free on itunes. If you enjoy them, please be sure to give the podcast a 5 star rating and a review. Podcasts with a great deal of traffic and good ratings are placed in categories such as ‘new and noteworthy’ and ‘most popular’ and are easier to for people searching for new podcasts by subject matter. Also, don’t forget to mention to the authors and musicians you meet at a festival or other events that your heard them on the podcast. They appreciate knowing that the time they so graciously volunteered to spend with the host had value to someone and encourages them to take the opportunity to grant interviews when requested.

Listed below a just a few of my favorites. Some of them have ‘podfaded’ but the episodes are still available, due to their popularity and number of downloads. Each one includes the description from their iTunes page.

If you have a favorite podcast that has helped you on your spritual path, or if you would like to tell us about a podcast you produce, please send the information to us using the contact link below.
